The Cube developers were on their toes: the new Aerium TT C:68 was finished just in time for the Tour de France and is one of the first time trial bikes to be optimized and developed in accordance with the abolition of the 3:1 rule of the UCI regulations. These include above all the very aerodynamic and flat tube profiles as well as the disc brakes, which, according to Cube, are an integral part of the overall concept. The new regulations simply mean that the necessary installation space for perfectly and reliably functioning rim brakes is no longer available. The brake caliper was therefore simply integrated into the fork. The well-known Twin Head Tube principle, on the other hand, was simply adopted from the Aerium C:68 – maximum aero performance meets precise handling, regardless of whether the wind’s angle of attack is low or high.
