It was only one year ago that BMC introduced the completely redesigned racing all-rounder team machine.
Now the Swiss are directly adding and present the latest edition of the Aero Timemachine racing bike to their waiting clientele.
The developers focused on a combination of classic aerodynamic properties such as stiffness and aerodynamics with comfortable handling and low weight. For this purpose, the tube profiles were revised and optimized, which is particularly noticeable on the down tube. The wider diameter is intended to make the integrated bottle holders more aerodynamic, and a toolbox has also been fitted above the bottom bracket. The cockpit also looks like a single unit, but is not fully integrated but consists of two parts to adapt the stem and handlebars individually to the driver.
In terms of price, too, BMC is back on its feet. The top model Timemachine 01 Road One with Dura-Ace Di2 and DT Swiss ARC wheels costs 11.999$. The start with Ultegra Di2 (all models come with electronic circuitry) is 7.999$.
Left: Integrated Aero Cover The minimal profile of the front caliper cover optimizes airflow at every yaw angle. Right: ICS Aero – the aerodynamic cockpit redefines integration with superb aerodynamics, complete cable integration, and broad adjustability.
Left: TCC Speed fork The Timemachine Road fork marries the ultimate aerodynamic performance with the exact dosage of vertical compliance for improved control. Right: Core Stiffness Exceptional bottom bracket and rear triangle stiffness for best-in-class power transfer.
Left: Aero Module A modular system that combines hydration and storage elements into one seamless aerodynamic unit. Right: The BMC Aero Post: Superbly aerodynamic through its Kamm tail profile, the Aero Post provides a wide range of adjustments.
Fast and Compliant: TCC Speed technology minimizes road vibration, improving rolling speed and power transfer.
